09/17/08 - The schedules for the 13 & 14 year old teams have been updated. All teams are affected. Please review your teams schedule by going to the schedule page. Field locations are posted on the fields page or you can get them from your manager.

Board Positions for 2009 Open

09/17/08 - The Woodstock Little League is looking for volunteers to join the Board of Directors for the 2009 season. The Board is elected at the September Board Meeting. The board meets the first Monday of every month at the Woodstock VFW. The following positions are open. If you are interested contact Darrin Chonos 815-354-1376.

Regular Season Champs to Receive Trophies

09/02/08 - The AL regular season champion White Sox and NL regular season champion Mets will receive their trophies at the Woodstock High School Football game on September 19. The presentation will occur before the varsity game. Come out to the game and show your support for the teams.

Tournament Teams Excelled

07/27/08 - The 10 & 11 year old all-star teams advanced to the District Touranments for their age groups.

The 11 years olds finished first in the Area 3 tournament in Marengo and played in the District tournament in Crystal Lake. They went 3-0 in Marengo beating:
Crystal Lake Continental 8-3
Huntley 7-4
Marengo 8-7 in 7 innings
The 11 year olds went 0-3 in pool play in Crystal Lake and did not qualify for the Sectional Tournament.

The 10 year olds finished in second place and advanced to the District Tournament in Bartlett by going 3-1 in the Huntley tournament. Their results in Huntley:
beat Marengo 9-2
beat Hampshire 8-1
lost to Huntley 8-1
beat Crystal Lake Continental 10-6

The 10 year olds went 3-0 in pool play in Bartlett to win their pool and qualify for the championship round. In the semi-finals they lost the Crystal Lake American 12-0. Their pool play results:
beat Crystal Lake National 12-0
beat Elgin National 15-11
beat Bartlett American 16-9

The 12 year olds went 3-0 in pool play in the Sullivan Classic. They beat South Elgin 13-11 to win the championship. Their pool play results:
beat South Elgin 4-2
beat Bartlett 4-2
beat Tri-Cities 14-0
